This becomes very irritating for Administrators and for everyone else too. So, recently and a lot in the past anonymous users have been a pain to the Wiki by simply spamming on pages by inserting false information, inserting nonsense and the like. If you have any questions or issues just write a comment below. We encourage more people to come to the Wiki and edit our canon pages, and make fanon! You just simply have to follow the rules that are in place! Secondly, if you're going to edit something about a character (their story, height, weight, voice actor etc), or the story of Soulcalibur in general then you must provide a reliable source showing why the information has been changed! If you don't provide a source your edit will be undone and if you undo that edit again without providing a source and enter an edit war then you will be blocked. Ignoring a warning could lead to further punishment.

So you really can't miss it! From now, if you edit a canon page (by canon I literally mean anything that is actually in the Soul series) without putting a summary you will be given a warning to do so you could be an amazing editor but you still need to put an edit summary and follow these rules. Seems that more users are editing pages, I just want to remind everyone to always put an edit summary when you're editing ANY canon page! No matter how small the edit is, always, always put a summary! This is stated in the welcome message (new users will see this), in Editing rules and common mistakes and on the Community Messages board which is seen to the right of the Recent Wiki Activity page. So, the Wiki is becoming more active now which is a good amazing thing! However, I just want Users (new and old) to know a general rule about editing. So please don't worry! In the end, it should all look great! This means infoboxes may look strange (as with a redesign, they will be changed too) and text may appear invisible for a while. This is due to the fact that the wiki could possibly switch from a dark theme to a light theme, or something inbetween. Also, a redesign can break some infoboxes and text. This means, as you're scrolling through the wiki, you may notice some big or small changes as you browse through different pages and reload.ĭon't worry if this happens, it will just be the process of the redesign. So, what do you want the logo to look like? How would you like it to reflect on the general theme of the wiki and our Facebook page?Ī wiki redesign takes time! There will be some errors and most probably a few different designs and changes before a final one is settled on. With all the hints and rumours going around about Soulcalibur VI and the possible announcement coming soon, it will be time for the wiki to have a major redesign once again!ĭepending on what the logo looks like - as our design is usually based on the logo of the latest game and the general theme of the game - the wiki will be designed with that in mind.

Share with me your thoughts and thank you for reading! So in discussion with fandom staff, I'm asking for community support for more active admins to be added or for a promotion to admin so I can continue cleaning up this wiki. Some issues include many of the pages have been locked for years with no edit access, the Announcements page hasn't been updated in months (and even then its still missing numerous announcements from last year alone for things related to the franchise), and a general lack of quality control which lead to a lot of outdated or incorrect information sitting on this wiki. I've discussed this with Fandom staff and we've come to the conclusion that not having any active admins is a problem. I've noticed all of the Admins have gone inactive, having been making any edits from months ranging to years. Hi everyone, the past few days I've been cleaning up a lot of the articles on this wiki and fixing all of the misinformation, adding the missing games and media, and just in general doing a lot of housekeeping.
